With your permission and while on the phone with you, our staff will access the laptop to identify and fix the problem. If the laptop is in need of hardware repair, NFS will email a pre-paid UPS shipping label. Our Techs can also assist with many other items. Such as Virus removal, Internet connections, Setting up your printer, Installing software, and general use tutorials for your laptop and applications.
Best Buy / Geek Squad charges $199.00 per year but does not included hardware repair.

Hardware
2 Year Full Warranty
Hardware (motherboard, hard drive, display, optical drive, wireless card, keyboard, and pointing device) is guaranteed from manufacture and/or refurbished defect for two (2) year from the date-of-purchase. NFS covers all costs including replacement part, service labor, and shipping. (Excluding Hawaii and Alaska)
Extended Limited Warranty - years 3, and 4
The student has a Co-Pay of the wholesale price of the replacement part and return shipping ($17.00). The cost of the repair will be about 1/4 the cost of a commercial computer repair center.
Example 1: 500GB hard drive: NFS Co-Pay $30.00. The industry average is $175.00 for hard drive replacement and operating system installation.
Example 2: Gen 3 motherboard: NFS Co-Pay $60.00. The industry average is $300.00 for a Gen 3 motherboard replacement.
Battery - 2 Year Full Warranty. Extended Limited Warranty - years 3, and 4
First two years NFS will ship a new battery by USPS Priority Mail. Years 3 and 4 the student has a co-pay of the wholesale price of the battery and shipping of $6.50.
Accidental Damage - 5 years
NFS will repair accidental damage at our cost. The student / school covers the shipping cost (NFS bulk UPS rate) to and from the NFS Lab. The cost of the repair will be about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of a commercial computer repair center
Accidental Damage, Schools and Organizations - 5 years
NFS will ship a replacement part at no cost. This in-lue of Accidental Coverage above at the discretion of the school.
Hardware Replacement, Schools and Organizations years 2, 3, 4, and 5
NFS will ship a replacement part at no cost. This in-lue of Extended Coverage above at the discretion of the school.
Alaska, Hawaii and Canada Shipping: AK, HI, and all Canadian Provinces will have additional shipping costs not covered by the warranty. Warranty is valid only within the USA and Canada.
Software
Virus Removal - 4 years
NFS provides free virus removal for 4 years. This is provided through remote computer service, which allows the laptop to remain at the home or school during virus removal.
Drivers - 4 years
NFS provides free device driver repair and reinstallation. This is provided through remote computer service, which allows the laptop to remain at the home or school during service.
Operating System (OS) Installation - 4 years
NFS provides OS and driver installation for $30.00. The student / school covers the shipping cost (NFS bulk UPS rate) to and from the NFS Lab.
Cosmetic Guarantee
All NFS laptops will arrive in “Like New” condition. If there is an issue contact NFS for an exchange or full refund.
