Purchase
Laptops purchased through NFS must be for a student.
College, high school, primary, homeschool, and trade school apply. Enrollment can be either part-time or full-time. Educational programs, GED preparation, college entrance test preparation, professional examinations (Bar, CPA etc.) and independent studies are also included.
Within the shopping cart you will be asked to furnish the following information:
Student or Parent
Within the Student Name field enter the student's last name. If the student is under 18 years of age, enter the parent's last name.
For Educational Institution enter the name of the school or educational purpose.
Family
Within the Student Name field enter the parent's last name. For Educational Institution enter the name of the school your oldest child is attending. If you are purchasing 4 or more laptops, contact NFS at cs@notebooksforstudents.org for a bulk discount.
Homeschool
Within the Student Name field enter the parent's last name.
For Educational Institution enter Homeschool.
Bulk Discount. A family or group of families purchasing 4 or more laptops can receive a bulk discount. Visit the Homeschool page and information.
Faculty and Staff
Faculty and staff may purchase laptops for themselves. Within the Student Name field enter your name. Within the Educational Institution field enter the name of the school or organization you are employed by.
Schools and Educational Programs
If you are a school, academic department, educational program, or a nonprofit with an educational mission, you may purchase a bulk quantity of laptops at a discounted price. If you work with low income students, NFS can provide Free Microsoft Office for your students. Visit the School Sales page for more information.
